Vision
For the past ten months, the Pastors and Deacons have recognized the need to create a dedicated ministry environment for our student ministry while enlarging our kid’s ministry area.
Projected Investment
On February 19th, the Deacon Team approved a budget of $150,000 for the project. Funds for the Dedicated Remodel Project will come from our Operating Account.
Additional Improvements
With this project, we will finish out the showers in the lower level restrooms. This will complete them as they were originally built and allow for more ministry opportunities in the future.

Why not build a building to meet more ministry needs?
We considered new building projects and expanding our current building to accommodate the more ministry needs.
We ultimately decided a remodel of our existing space was the best way of stewarding our existing spaces while preserving the building fund for future projects.
What about other ministry needs?
As we considered this project, we recognize there are other needs we would like to pursue. Some of these include a dedicated Fellowship Hall, an updated kitchen, an elevator, a permanent baptistry in the Worship Center, a permanent stage in the Worship Center, and a larger Worship Center.
The Dedicated Remodel Project is the first step in addressing the ministry needs of our church facilities. While we don't have a timeline of when we would like to address these other needs, the Pastors and Deacons are developing attendance benchmarks to trigger future projects.
Will the building fund be used to fund this remodel?
No. We will use funds we have in our Operational Account. This fund is where regular giving and expenses go. In God's goodness to us and your faithfulness in giving over the past, we have funds on hand in the Operational Account to pay for this remodel project.
We will reserve the Building Fund for future building projects that include a new Worship Center.
Do we really need these dedicated ministry spaces?
Our student and kid's ministries are active and growing!
Our Kid's Church is experiencing space limitations. The room we currently use for Kid's Church seats all of our kids, but there is not much room for activities and movement.
Our Student Ministry currently meets in the Chapel, Room 121 in the brick building, and 101 in the Family Life Center. Our students meet throughout the church buildings because they don't have their own space.
While we could continue operating in this manner, the Pastors and Deacons believe it is better to move forward with this remodel project, creating new dedicate spaces for the kids and student ministries.
Can I give to this remodel project?
Yes. If you would like to give to this remodel project, you can give online or give during our worship service. When giving online, select Dedicated from the dropdown menu next to the amount. If you are giving by check, write Dedicated in the memo line.
Who will do the remodel project?
We have contracted a General Contractor from within our congregation and he will oversee most of the process. There will be an opportunity for those willing and able to help in select aspects of the project. The first opportunity will be on Saturday, March 25.
Updates

Work Day: March 25
As we begin the remodel project, we will need to move some objects out of the upstairs storage room and move the Kid's Church area. We will be up and down the stairs quite a bit during this work day.
